Fashion Blog: Tailoring from Rag & Bone

I have really wanted to update my winter wardrobe with a few new daytime pieces for a while now. Smart, functional pieces that will also work for easy traveling and springtime too.

My objects of desire and weeks of stalking arrived from TheOutnet.com to my door.

The Rag & Bone Sullivan Stretch Blazer.

Was £465. Now £139.50. 70% off.
White stretch-wool, notched lapels, long sleeves, front flap pockets, contouring seam detail, vent at back. Designer-stamped button fastening at front. 98% wool, 2% elastane.

The Rag & Bone Hampton Wool Shorts.
Was £250. Now £87.50. 65% off.
High-waisted, pleated front, side pockets, back slit pockets. Concealed zip and designer-stamped button fastening at front. 100% wool. In Dark Charcoal.

I am little shy of trying new designers, blissfully sticking to tried and trusted names for quality, fit and longevity. Rag & Bone NY has forced my out the my comfort zone, I have been online stalking a few of their pieces for a while and blogged about the Ohara shirt dress some weeks ago. Rag & Bone NY established in 2004 and have stood their ground in the high quality, great fabrics and good tailoring niche. It's hard not to yearn for most of the pieces in each collection, all so wearable.

When placing my order at the Outnet.com, I took advantage of the free shipping for that weekend. Since signing up with the website when it was first launched I have been pleased to receive their emails, the offers are worthwhile, the stock is excellent and the flash sales / weekend sales are marvelous Friday evening browsing.
