I have discovered shiply.com, a deliveries website in the UK tendering delivery quotes of large items such as cycles, furniture, cars and more from many contractors large and small.
How does it work?
1. Sign up, state what you wish to have delivered including item description and measurements.
2. Add the collection postcode and delivery postcode. You can specify a date for delivery if you wish.
3. Wait for the free quotes to start rolling in from individual contractors who look at the site, the more time you can wait the better. Quotes start coming in straight away, but over a couple of days many quotes arrive to choose from.
4. How do you choose? It's down to preference, you can make you choice by price or feedback comments/rating or a combination of the two.
